When you want to make a quick edit to an order or draft order invoice, you can now change its details directly — no regeneration required. Instead of changing the order in Shopify and regenerating the document, open the invoice, click into a field, type your change, and save. Your edits are stored on that specific invoice, so they stay put until you change them.

This is ideal for one-off corrections — a customer's address, a payment term, an invoice date — without touching the original Shopify order.

What You Can Edit

Inline editing covers the invoice's detail and contact fields:

Invoice details — invoice number, invoice date, due date, order date, order number, PO number, payment terms, payment status, payment method, order note, custom note.
Customer — customer email, first name, last name.
Delivery address — name, company, address 1 & 2, city, province, postal code, country, phone, tax number.
Billing address — the same set of fields as the delivery address.

Customizing your supplier address in Invoice Falcon ensures your invoices display the correct legal name, registered office, tax ID, and contact details — building trust and supporting tax compliance.

Where Your Supplier Address Comes From

Invoice Falcon builds the supplier address from two sources: your Shopify store profile and settings you configure inside the app.

Fields from Your Shopify Store Profile

The following details are automatically pulled from your Shopify store and displayed on invoices:

Store name — shown in bold at the top of the supplier address block
Address Line 1 — your primary street address
Address Line 2 — optional second line (suite, floor, building)
City, Province — displayed on one line separated by a comma
Country, ZIP code — displayed on one line separated by a dash
Email address — shown with an envelope icon
Phone number — shown with a phone icon

To update these fields, go to Shopify Admin → Settings → Store details and edit your business address. Invoice Falcon picks up the changes automatically on the next invoice.

When you automatically send invoices to customers, Invoice Falcon handles delivery the moment an order is created, paid, fulfilled, or delivered — without any manual effort. This keeps your customers informed, speeds up payment collection, and ensures every transaction has a professional invoice on record.

Open the Invoice Delivery Settings

The automatic invoicing feature is configured on the Settings page inside Invoice Falcon. Follow these steps to find and enable it.

Navigate to Invoice Delivery

Open the Invoice Falcon app from your Shopify Admin.
Click Settings in the left-hand navigation menu.
Click on the Email delivery tab
Check the Invoice delivery section. This is where you enable automatic sending and configure your sending rules.

Once you are on the Invoice delivery section, you can turn on automatic invoicing with a single click.

What This Feature Does

Invoice Falcon generates a small HTML code snippet that you paste into your Shopify order notification template. Here is how it works behind the scenes.

The code adds a clickable link (styled as a heading) to your order confirmation email with customizable text such as "Download Invoice."
When a customer clicks the link, Invoice Falcon automatically generates the PDF invoice for that order and delivers it as a direct download.
The link uses Shopify's built-in email variables ({{ id }} and {{ order_number }}) so it dynamically points to the correct invoice for each order.
If the invoice has not been generated yet, Invoice Falcon creates it on-the-fly when the customer clicks the link.

Instead of downloading invoices one by one, you can select a group of orders — or all orders matching your current filters — and download their invoices in a single action. You can choose to receive the invoices as individual PDF files bundled into a ZIP archive, or as one combined PDF document. The download is processed in the background and the file is made available on the Bulk Actions page once it is ready.

Before You Begin

Before you can bulk download invoices, make sure the following requirements are met:

Invoice Falcon is installed and active on your Shopify store.
Orders exist in your store. You need at least one order (or draft order) to download an invoice for.
No other bulk action is running. Invoice Falcon allows only one bulk action (print, download, or email) to run at a time. If another bulk action is already in progress, you will need to wait for it to finish or cancel it before starting a new bulk download.

Open the Invoice Falcon app from your Shopify Admin.
Click Templates in the left navigation menu.
Click on the template you want to customize (or click Edit on the template row).
Scroll to the Visual editor section and click the Open visual editor button.
